Individuals who demonstrate positive impact in our local communities are identified, acknowledged, and encouraged, As their efforts are being recognized these local citizens are asked to share some nuggets about their success.
Graduating high school seniors are recognized for their achievements and are invited to apply for a one time financial award to assist with post high school education.
This celebration of family and community is held at the end of the calendar year. We work with local partners to produce an event which involves education, conversation, and feasting.
Zeta Pearl has maintained an active relationship with several local schools over the years. The organization has donated books to students at Pine Grove Elementary school (Delray Beach). At Carver Middle (Delray Beach) teachers received monetary donations, and school supplies. Most recently, the members of the group spent numerous hours volunteering at Galaxy Elementary (Boynton Beach), hosting a teacher breakfast, donating school supplies, and purchasing prizes to reward students for academic progress. our community.
The organization presents seminars on leadership and career development.
The members of the organization spend countless hours planning and presenting these seminars for the young people of our community.
Seminar participants include middle school students, high school students, and college students.
Since its inception, Zeta Pearl Foundation has worked with many organizations as it seeks to impact the quality of life for local citizens.
These organizations include: Roots Cultural Festival, Spady Museum, Urban League of Palm Beach County, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Knights of Pythagoras Mentoring Network, St. Matthews Anglican Church, Pyramid Bookstores, and Lakeview Nursing Home.
